The voice of learning disability in Greenwich. We provide care, advice and support to people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and autism and their families.

Activities Volunteer

To participate in, lead and deliver aspects of the activity sessions, take registers, bingo calling, ordering drink and food.
Set up equipment. To actively take part in the session briefings and debriefings to discuss the needs of the individuals and to report any observations of change in circumstance for service users or their family/carer to the coordinator. To actively participate in quarterly supervisions and team meetings.

Volunteer Admin

A volunteer to relaunch our membership for Greenwich Mencap six hours a week to suit. Over a couple of days or over a whole week.
Collate documents, make phone calls. Be able to use MS Word, MS Excel and email.

Volunteer Driver

Driver over 21 years, clean driving licence. Driving for over two years. Can drive a manual or automatic. It would be good if you have a D1 on your licence. Coming to Riverwood Centre to collect vehicle. Collecting clients from their homes, to take to Riverwood Centre at Woolwich. Will have a staff member or volunteer with you.
