The AHOY Centre is a registered charity based in Deptford, London that helps disadvantaged children and people with disabilities to become involved in watersports and to gain certifications of the Royal Yachting Association in activities such as sailing, powerboating and first aid.

Fundraising Event Support

To support the delivery of AHOY’s onwater rowing events, including Coxswaining, Rowing Coach, Safety Boat Officers. You must have relevant experience and qualification.

Dealing with all calls and welcoming visitors and working and supporting the Operations Team. This role will suit someone with good communication and telephone manner, keyboard/typing skills, familiar with Word, Excel & Outlook.

IT / CRM developer

All with an overall aim to improve AHOY’s Salesforce CRM and the manner AHOY collect, use and report on supporter activity. CRM Development – Using your knowledge of Salesforce you will help AHOY to develop the way they use salesforce CRM, making it an effective way to steer, track and monitor.

Secretary to The Board of Trustee

Primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient running of meetings of the trustee board and any sub-committees. Providing assistance and support to the chair of the board of trustees.

The Charity Secretary will be closely involved in monitoring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements affecting the charity and its activities, ensuring that the Trustees’ decisions are acted upon, and that all decisions made by the Trustees are in accordance with the governing documents, reflect the objects of the charity, and continue to provide public benefit. 

Hours of need will be around 8 hours a month to attend the AGM and Trustee Meetings.
