Women and Girls' Health Hub Project The Women and Girls' Health Hub helps women and girls across Greenwich get clear health information and access to local support, especially those facing the greatest health inequalities. You can be part of this project by using the Hub for support and information, or by joining our team of Health Ambassadors. I am looking for health information or support Getting the right advice at the right time can make a real difference. The Health Hub gives women and girls a direct route to information and support on: Heavy menstrual bleeding Preconception care Contraception Perimenopause and menopause The Hub is available both in person, at our community location on Market Street in Woolwich, and virtually. You can self-refer, without needing to see anyone else first. Get in touch to access the Health Hub I would like to become a Health Ambassador Health Ambassadors help spread the word about the Health Hub, sharing information with women and girls in their own communities and connecting them to local services. If you are approachable, a good listener, and interested in helping others feel more informed about their health, this could be a good fit for you. Ambassadors reach out to local organisations, attend community events, and run informal sessions to raise awareness of the Health Hub and the support available. Apply to become a Health Ambassador What the programme achieves The Women and Girls' Health Hub launched in March 2025, funded by NHS South East London, and is piloting across three London boroughs including Greenwich. Since launching, the project has built a growing team of Health Ambassadors, strengthened partnerships across the borough, and raised awareness of women's health support among those who need it most. 2025-2026 Achievements 32 Health Ambassadors recruited 33 community events attended
