What we can talk about

  • Setting up your Volunteer Connect profile

  • Current volunteering roles, with support from our team to find one that fits

  • Anything on your mind, including eligibility, expenses, DBS checks, or how volunteering affects Universal Credit

  • Our projects, and whether one might suit you

  • Other ways to get involved in your community, from local activities to one-off events

  • A general chat. We can share information and point you toward other local services if that would help

We are a Be Well Hub

Volunteer Centre Greenwich is part of the Greenwich Be Well Network, a group of organisations working to reduce the stigma around mental health across the borough. As a Be Well Hub, we offer an open door and a listening ear, and we can connect you with other local organisations if you need further support.

Coffee and chat across Greenwich

Our Be Well Champions also host a monthly coffee and chat at different locations across the borough, alongside our regular drop-in. It is another relaxed way to talk to someone, ask a question, or find out what volunteering could look like for you. See our events page for the next date near you.
