Mentoring Qualification Aim: This qualification allows learners to gain a deeper understanding of the role and skills required to become an effective mentor. The qualification gives the learner an insight into the role and practice. This includes being clear about the mentor/mentee relationship, following good practice, developing specific skills and understanding what is required to become a mentor. Learners will also reflect on their own learning and work performance, understand the benefits of mentoring and legal ethical mentoring requirements.
