Woolwich Works Front of House volunteer

Woolwich Works, a multi-disciplinary Arts Centre that opened on the Arsenal in 2021, is looking for Front of House volunteers. As a volunteer, you will welcome our visitors to the site and help them find their way around.

Essential to volunteering at Woolwich Works is a positive and friendly demeanour and the ability to engage with different people. You will need to be a team player and a lover of the arts. To welcome visitors with a friendly manner, supporting and guiding them around the venue and ensuring they feel comfortable.

Your travel expenses to and from Woolwich Works are covered with access to staff discounts in our café. We require you to work a minimum of 1 shift per month, but would encourage you to work much more.

Severndroog Castle Building Preservation Trust Visitor Assistant Volunteer

Severndroog Castle is a unique 18th Century Grade II* listed Gothic tower in the Shooters Hill Woodlands, South East London. The Castle was built in 1784 by Lady James of Eltham as a memorial to her husband, Sir William James, who died in 1783. The building was closed to the public in 1988, re-opening to the public in July 2014. Since then, Severndroog Castle Building Preservation Trust continues to work towards securing the future of the building through community and commercial activities.
